The 200g O’Bar, inspired by the iconic Toblerone, features a series of connected triangular prisms. It is crafted with vegan milk chocolate, a plant-based honey alternative, almonds, and a secret ingredient.

Currently available for pre-order at £8.50 on the Catherine Original’s website, the O’Bar will be dispatched in December, allowing consumers to secure their festive treats in advance.

The introduction of the O’Bar reflects the increasing demand for vegan confectionery as more consumers adopt plant-based diets. The brand continues to offer innovative products that meet dietary preferences while delivering on taste and quality.

  1. This sounds intriguing! Does anyone know if the plant-based honey alternative they’ve used in the O’Bar has a similar texture and sweetness level as traditional honey? Always on the lookout for new vegan treats to review.

    • I’ve experimented with a few plant-based honeys, and while each has its unique qualities, they generally do a great job mimicking the viscosity and sweetness you’d expect. Can’t wait to see your review on it!

  3. While it’s great seeing new vegan options, £8.50 seems a bit steep. Does the price reflect the sustainability and ethical efforts in production, or is this another case of premium pricing for vegan labels?

    • Indeed, the pricing strategy should be transparent about where the money is going. It’s essential to support ethical practices but equally important to ensure consumers are not being overcharged.

    • Ethical or not, that price is way out of my league for a chocolate bar. Guess it’s back to the drawing board for those of us watching our expenses.

  4. The introduction of a vegan alternative to a classic treat is fascinating. However, it’s essential to remember that even vegan options can be high in sugar and fats. Moderation is key.
