Greggs has confirmed the return of its popular Vegan Festive Bake for Christmas 2024, responding to high customer demand.

The bake, temporarily removed from the menu in 2023 to make way for the Spicy Vegetable Curry Bake, will be available in shops nationwide from 8th November.

Priced from £2.00, or as part of a savoury bake deal for £2.85, the Vegan Festive Bake features an enhanced recipe.

It includes Quorn mycoprotein pieces, sage and onion stuffing balls, vegan bacon, and a rich cranberry and red onion sauce, all encased in golden puff pastry.

This announcement has been met with enthusiasm from fans who have eagerly awaited its return, underscoring the bake’s significance within the vegan community.

Nigella Lawson is the face of the new Greggs ad to launch their festive menu. She took to Instagram to spill that she’s been a fan of their sausage roll for ages. If you remember the hype, Greggs turned the game upside down in 2019 with their vegan Quorn-based sausage roll – it basically became a legend overnight.

And yes, they even made sausage roll earrings. Because when you’re Greggs, you go all in.
