Costa Coffee has teamed up with plant-based culinary experts BOSH! to reveal new vegan options for its 2024 Christmas menu, now available at over 2,600 locations throughout the UK.

This initiative addresses the increasing demand for plant-based foods, appealing to both dedicated vegans and those who are reducing their animal product consumption.
The festive menu includes two indulgent treats: the Winter Berry Crumble, featuring a blend of raspberry and blackcurrant flavours, and the Billionaire’s Slice, a luxurious treat with a crispy base, caramel, rich chocolate, and a golden decoration.
To complement these offerings, Costa has introduced a vegan-friendly Festive Spice Syrup, designed to enhance the holiday experience with a warming festive drink.
This isn’t just about tasty treats. It’s about making plant-based options more accessible and showing that you don’t have to compromise on flavour. Whether you’re vegan, vegetarian, or just curious, these offerings make it easier to enjoy delicious food that’s kinder to the planet.
Henry Firth and Ian Theasby, the brains behind BOSH!, are pretty chuffed about this partnership. They believe plant-based food can be indulgent and delicious, and these new treats are their way of spreading some Christmas joy.
Their mission? To get more plants onto more plates, and teaming up with Costa is a big step in that direction.

She’s passionate about living a vibrant, compassionate, and cruelty-free life, all while championing the magic of tofu.
Does anyone know if the Winter Berry Crumble and the Billionaire’s Slice are also gluten-free? It’s fantastic to hear about more vegan options, but finding treats that cater to both vegan and gluten-free needs can be quite the task!
Had a quick look on the Costa website, and it doesn’t seem like they’ve listed the full dietary info yet. Might be worth dropping them a message or asking in store!
vegan billionaire’s slice, huh? do ya think it tastes like real money or just monopoly money? 😆
Sure, more vegan options, but what about the prices? Bet they’ll charge an arm and a leg for what’s essentially a bit of crumble and a fancy slice. Always the way with these big chains.
While I understand the concern about pricing, it’s a step in the right direction for sustainability. Better to pay a bit more for something that aligns with environmental values.
It’s interesting to see traditional coffee shops like Costa embracing plant-based options. Wonder if this will set a trend for other high street names to introduce more inclusive menus.
